“White Snow Cake” by Paul McCarthy
A bronze sculpture almost 2.5 metres tall from 2011, with a title that plays on the fairy tale of Snow White.
“Eyes” by Louise Bourgeois is two large spheres of black granite from 1997. They lie in the sculpture park on Tjuvholmen, with the museum on one side and the fjord on the other.

In the model the two granite spheres lie on the grass in the sculpture park, with the trees and the museum behind them and the fjord in front. The spheres are shown in simplified form.
In the evening the lamps along the paths come on, and the spheres stand dark against the low light.
Louise Bourgeois (1911–2010) was a French-American artist, known for large sculptures and installations. “Eyes” dates from 1997 and consists of two spheres of black granite, each 160 centimetres in diameter.
The forms can be read as a pair of eyes watching the people who walk past, or as female breasts. The work is on loan from the Selvaag Art Collection.
The work stands outdoors in the sculpture park at the far end of Tjuvholmen, around Astrup Fearnley Museet. The park is free and open all year round. The nearest tram stop is Aker brygge by Rådhusplassen.
