“White Snow Cake” by Paul McCarthy
A bronze sculpture almost 2.5 metres tall from 2011, with a title that plays on the fairy tale of Snow White.
“Untitled” by Anish Kapoor is a block of white alabaster from 1997, almost three metres tall. It stands in a glass case in the sculpture park on Tjuvholmen.

In the model the alabaster block stands in a glass house on a bed of grey stone, in front of the museum wall and close to “White Snow Cake”.
The front of the block has a hollow recess. In the model it is shown in simplified form.
Anish Kapoor (b. 1954) is a British artist, known for sculptures that play with voids, light and reflective surfaces.
“Untitled” dates from 1997 and measures 295 × 175 × 128 centimetres. Alabaster is a soft, pale stone that lets a little light through. The work is on loan from the Selvaag Art Collection.
The work stands outdoors in the sculpture park at the far end of Tjuvholmen, around Astrup Fearnley Museet. The park is free and open all year round. The nearest tram stop is Aker brygge by Rådhusplassen.
